Agro laughed nervously and took a small step backwards,. "Er...Tersa's...um, I-Idon't know." He smiled warily. "Wh-why would I know where she was?" he said, his eyes spiciously shifting from one place to another. Argo was terrible at lying...but he was good at keeping secrets. "Er, I'm no expert, but I'd look in the Duffy's barn. Their dog is having pups, you know? and Tersa...might..."he trailed off as he stared into Kondu's ice-cold stoney stare.

Aleukia sensed her two boys' presence, but she didn't open either of her fox-like eyes. Insted she listened intently to their conversation, her ears swiviling like radars, wile she expertly pretended to be asleep.

Argo met up with Tersa behind a small smokehouse at the edge of town. "Boy was that close!" He looked curiously at Tersa. "So where were you anyways, hmm? With that wolf again?" he teased. "How are you two going to keep that up with your parents and...Krak...constantly following you?" he asked, scratching his ear.

Aleuki closed her eyes and sighed quietly. She knew her boys had been up to something.She searched her mind for a tactic to use against them; against that dog. She smiled to herself as she drifted off to sleep, figuring out exactly what she was going to do...Khannah...she thought as she drifted off to sleep. For once, she had a peacefull, satisfactory sleep.

fire slept well He dreamed of what the nextday would bring. He would sneak off and see tersa again. All was well.

Krak saw Tersa and Argo talking and he walked up to them, he stood up between Argo and Tersa, completely ignoring Argo.-"Tersa, where have you been?...your father's been looking for you, he was very worried about you..."

Zack was trying to sleep, he thought about his younger days, when he was just a little pup trying to copy everything his mother did, he smiled remembering him and how he never thought he would be such a rebel, disobeying his mother and sneaking off to see a dog. His smile faded thinking about what his mother would do if she found out about Tersa and the things she would do to find out what Fire and him had to do back in the village, he knew his mom enough to know she would do anything to discover their secret, and that kept him awake, thinking what kind of tricks his mother knew, and how to avoid falling with them.

OCC: Ooh, Suri would sure add some excitement!

Tersa opened her mouth to answer Agro, but was interrupted by Krak. "I.......I was at Duffy's. I told my father, I like puppies." she lied, trying to hide it though. She smiled innocently, hoping Krak would be absent-minded like her father & buy her story.

Suddenly, Kodita appeared beside Krak, a smile on her face. "I'm so glad you two are bonding," she replied, kicking Argo out also. "Now, Tersa, I don't want you running off again. You had me worried sick!" she exclaimed, nudging Tersa closer to Krak. "You two, follow me please." she replied leading the way.

Hesitantly, Tersa slowly followed, glancing at Argo before leaving.

Krak smiled at Kodita.-"I'm sorry you and Kondu had to go through that...pain of not knowing where your daughter, specially now that the wild beasts think they can come to our village and break into our homes...that's why I want to offer you my service...I'll be Tersa's...guardian angel, I'll protect her from those wolves...what do you say?"

Kodita nodded, continuing to walk. "Of course Krak! No need to ask! Just do whatever you'd like..........ah!" she exclaimed, stopping sharply.

Tersa's mouth opened wide. Her mother brought them to a large mountain without them knowing it. The view was amazing! You could see clouds from there. Tersa suddenly realized what her mother was doing.

"You two enjoy yourselves.........goodbye for now!" she exclaimed, running down.

Tersa sighed. Her mother was always a mate-matcher. Tersa glanced at Krak, looking away quickly.

"yeah...no problem..."-Said Zack, he closed his eyes but then he smelled Tersa and Krak too, he quickly stood up and walked with Fire.-"I guess you'll need some help...let's go"

krak smiled at Tersa when Kodita left.-"Don't worry Tersa...I know it's hard for you to express it but...I know about your feelings for me and, let me say that...even though I wasn't sure at first, I think your parents will be ok if I become part of the family...be my mate, Tersa! And together we'll exterminate those wolves!!"
